ParamNote Compatibility with FreeCAD

ParamNote is designed to sit alongside FreeCAD as a documentation and explanation layer for parametric designs.

Teams and individual users working in FreeCAD can use ParamNote to:

• Document design intent behind key sketches and bodies
• Describe how parameters, constraints, and formulas are meant to behave
• Capture rationale for major design decisions and revisions
• Link notes to specific configurations, options, or variants
• Share human-readable explanations with colleagues, clients, or manufacturers

ParamNote does not:

• modify FreeCAD files;
• act as a plug-in, macro, or extension;
• access local system files or operating system internals.

All information is entered manually by users as text, images, and structured documentation inside a browser-based workspace.
